I went to New Hope to visit my mom the other weekend. They live in a log cabin in the middle of the woods. There's lots of nature around.

This little box turtle was just hanging out in our driveway.

I had to wait a long time before he would come out of his shell with me standing there.

TURTLE: "Oh, all right then...guess I'll just be goin..."

More nature! A Praying Mantis.

One night when I was much younger I awoke from a dream and saw a Praying Mantis walking across my pillow. I wasn't sure if it was merely a waking vision or reality, but I felt like surely that must be a sign of good fortune.
