Pat, Colby and I went to go see some of my friends' works in a show at this place called "Like The Spice", at 224 Roebling, in Wburg. They had an endless supply of beer imported all the way from Baltimore. There's Aaron in the middle, in front of his peice. He's so great. NATTY BO!

J.P. with soulmate.

Pat's incredible shirt.

Then we went to a party!

I love seeing Brian happy.

These folks went all out.

They had clever shots.

Then of course, you walk out the door, and you're wasted in Bushwick.

But it's only a short car service to Hanna Food, and sesame peanut bars, fig newtons, and Tings. Ah, convenience can spoil you.

Trying to take a picture while throwing an orange cone into the air to make it look like it's floating.

Some heavy weather in NYC.

I wish i could show you the feeling of the rain hitting my face, and the heavy breeze, and how blue the sky was behind the clouds. I hope you were standing outside too, then.

I found a dog under my covers!

The coziness of my bed is irresistable, I know...

It's the Fourth of July!

I took it upon myself, since i wasn't barbecueing, and I don't have a rooftop, to sit on the sidewalk of Kent St. with a blanket and a book and a damn goood view of the water, and wait to see fireworks.

I went alone...

I rode all over Greenpoint to find the best spot...

And then peeps came to keep me company! I was happy to share my spot.

So it turns out that even though we had a crazy view of Manhattan, the fireworks were still obscured by this warehouse. Who knew? Next year, find a better spot.

It's not often that my three closest friends are all hanging out with me at the same time...

But look! Here they are! A picture to prove it!

"WE'RE FREEEEEE!"...
