How my month started, and what I left behind. Moving is a drag!

Jae and Suzannah.
Alex and dude.
Tim and Suzannah.
Suzy and I went to see Avi's band, Soiled Mattress and The Springs, play.
Suzy.
Jazz, funk, keyboards, saxophone. It was great, really!
Then we went back to Williamsburgh to go to Not Straight Outta Compton. It was serious, and I got really sweaty in about five minutes. Still the best dance party around.
Almost a full moon.

I rode my bike around the tip of Manhattan yesterday. I needed a change of scenery.
Unicorn!!!
Special Steamed Big Bun. $1.40. Sweetened Iced Coffee. $1.50. HEAVEN. (P.S. A big bun contains Sausage, other pork, beef, sauce, and egg. Yeah, I ate that.)
Suzy glows.
Dana.
The land o'plenty.
This is my new roomate Carlos with Bird. They're ferocious!

Suzy and I decided that instead of ice cream we would eat cherry cobbler from Union Picnic for desert. It was so good that we just sat on this bench for the next 35 minutes or so and couldn't even speak.

The girl at Taxter and Spengeman has a teacup Yorkie. It was so small it took about a whole minute for it to walk across the floor to get to me.
SMALL.
Later that night I went to Exit Art because Colby and some other people had work in the RISD show. *Note dog in bag.
This is Colby's work.
I left a little drunk and feeling pretty great about myself. Don't you love that?

Colby took these.

We have a joke about working on Saturdays at 535 22nd st., and how we're all just hungover and staring at our computers, hating the fact that we aren't home sleeping or eating brunch or whatever else normal people do. And how it's like the "let me tell you about my boat..."scene in "The Life Aquatic", where it's a cutaway of the boat, and you see all the people in the various sections doing things...
Brian.
I need to stop explaining jokes.
To make up for the eight hours of our lives that were sucked away on 22nd st. yesterday, Colby and I walked from Chelsea to L.E.S. yesterday, as we sometimes do. We got Rice Pudding, and I complained the whole way about things I always complain about. He does me a great service by putting up with it. After I left him I wandered home by way of Kent and West streets, which were so beautifully vacant.
Colby once told me that I have a keen eye for beauty, or something like that but more eloquent. And I said yeah, but only for things like sunsets and mountains and stuff.
And bright colors.
A hearse with some major detailing.
It took me a second...oh yeah. Clever.
!!!!
I took pictures of this car last night, and then when I left my apt. this morning, it was parked right outside my door. Isn't that kind of eerie?
And home again, having forgotten all of my cares and woes.

Dana and Kimberley and I went to see "The Birds" in Bryant Park last night. We thought we would get there early, but apparently, everyone else in New York had the same idea.
Our patch. We sat in a line.
I hate when you want to drink beer outside, but you don't see anyone else doing it.
The rain came and went.
Never really realized how much "The Birds" is like "Signs", or the other way around, rather. I'm kind of ignorant about stuff like that.
